Personal Note: I've been taking this class for about 11 months and love it. I believe that martial arts is one of the best types of exercise for holistic physical, mental and spiritual development appropriate for all ages. Dean is an excellent teacher and is assisted by several other black belts in the class of various ages. It's a great class for the whole family. Energy comes from feeling good, not from eating well or sleeping a lot. We all remember how as children, when we were having fun, we often forgot to eat or sleep. I believe that we can keep that attitude as adults, too. It's best not to tire the body with too many rules such as lunchtime and bedtime.
